Instructions
Step 1
As soon as you discover the disappearance of important files, immediately stop all activity on the computer. Download and install Magic Uneraser software.
Step 2
Run this utility and wait for the main menu to open. In the left menu, select the local drive on which the remote folder was located. Click the Analyze button on the toolbar.
Step 3
The scanning process of the selected partition directly depends on its size and computer performance. After completing this procedure, you will be presented with a complete list of available data. Deleted files will be marked with a red cross.
Step 4
Select the desired folder with the left mouse button using the right menu of the Magic Uneraser program. Click the Restore button to go to the new dialog box.
Step 5
Select the hard drive partition and the folder where you want to save the restored folder. Click the "Continue" button. Wait for the running process to complete.
Step 6
When working with any program, there is a risk of file corruption during recovery. Partial recovery of archives and documents can be observed especially often. Install Easy Recovery and run it.
Step 7
Open the File Repair menu and select the type of data whose integrity you want to recreate. Specify the folder containing the files you want. It should be noted that the described utility option is not intended for working with images and video recordings. Click the Next button. Wait for the program to finish running.
Step 8
The Easy Recovery utility also has the function of recovering deleted files. It is recommended that you use the latest software versions to complete this procedure successfully. Practice shows that new versions are endowed with better algorithms for data retrieval on inactive sectors of the hard disk.
