Instructions

Step 1

First, make sure the files were actually deleted and not just moved to another folder. To do this, in the "Start" menu, click once with the left mouse button on the "Search" line. You will see a search box for files and folders, in which you will be asked to enter the name, size, type and date of the last modification of the file. After entering the basic data for the search, click the "Find" button. If the files remain saved somewhere on your personal computer, the search engine will identify them and show you the directory containing these files.

Step 2

If the files were not found in the search system, then they were deleted from the hard drives of the computer. In this case, the Windows operating system provides a "Trash" folder, which is intended for temporary storage of deleted files and folders. To restore files in the Recycle Bin, find and run the Recycle Bin shortcut that is by default on your desktop. You will see a window containing data on deleted files. Select the files or folders you need from the list, right-click on them once and select the "Restore" line in the action menu that appears. After that, all selected files and folders will be restored, while being saved in the previous directory.
