Step 1
First, you need to check if the fan speed setting in the BIOS is correct. You can often find that the processor fan is set to constantly rotate at maximum speed, even if its heatsink is completely cold and the processor is not loaded with work. This is unnecessary spinning noise that does absolutely no good to your computer. When the computer boots up, click the "Delete" button. The BIOS will boot. Look for the "Smart fun control" parameter. In order for the fans not to rotate in vain at maximum speed - this parameter must be enabled (Enabled).
Step 2
Check the reliability of fastening all components of the system unit to its case. Tighten the bolts of the hard drives, power supply, and system cover. It happens that loosely mounted devices are a source of loud noise.
Step 3
If, after adjustment, the noise has not disappeared, the fans are probably overgrown with dust, or there is no lubricant left in them at all.
Power off the computer completely. Remove the left side cover of the system unit. Most often, for this you need to unscrew the two bolts located on the back of the system unit.
Identify the source of the noise - is the processor fan or power supply fan making the main noise?
In the first case, partial disassembly can be dispensed with. Lay the system unit on its side. Without removing the fan, tear off the sticker on the top of it. Apply one or two drops of machine oil to the cooler bearing. Try not to stain the place where the sticker was glued with oil, otherwise it will be difficult to stick it back on. After that - stick the sticker back in place.
To lubricate the power supply fan, you must remove it. Disconnect it from your computer. Remove the four fastening bolts from the case of the system unit. Take out the power supply. Unscrew the bolts of its cover. Take it off. Now remove the fan bolts. The same as with the processor fan - remove the sticker. If the bearing is covered with a rubber cap, carefully remove it. Add a couple of drops of oil. Assemble the power supply and connect it to the system unit in the reverse order.
