Necessary
- - computer;
- - files to be selected.
Instructions
Step 1
Working on a computer, users quite often have to copy and move various files from one folder to another. And here the Windows functions will be of great help, which allow you to simultaneously select and drag several files from place to place at once. You can use these options using the mouse or keyboard keys.
Step 2
First, open the folder from which you want to copy, move or delete files. Then, by clicking on each document in turn, perform the necessary actions with them. To perform an operation with several files, press the Ctrl button on the keyboard and select the ones that need to be processed.
Step 3
If the files intended for deletion (transfer, copying) are arranged in order, you can click with the mouse on an empty space in the folder, after which you will need to "drag" the mouse, creating a kind of frame around the files that would capture all documents at once. By selecting them, you can perform any desired action with them.
Step 4
All adjacent files located together are also selected using the keyboard. To do this, press Ctrl and mark the first document. Then quickly press the Shift key and mark the last file to be selected. In this way, you will select several files at once. Then right-click and select the desired option.
Step 5
When copying, you can also simply drag with the mouse all the selected documents to a folder or to the desktop. At the same time, the original source - the folder of the hard disk, removable media, card reader - does not play a special role in this. Files on them are allocated in a similar way. True, you can only copy documents from a DVD or CD. It will hardly be possible to delete documents from them. With regard to recording, this is possible only in some cases.
