In typography, quotation marks are used to refer to different types of quotation marks, but among ordinary computer users, this is the most commonly used copyright mark. This icon is not on a standard computer keyboard, so you have to use the capabilities of different software to insert it into the text.
Instructions
Step 1
The easiest way to insert a character is to use operating system resources. With the cursor positioned at the desired position in the text, press and hold the alt="Image" key. With the other hand on the additional keyboard, type the character code in the Unicode table 0169. Then release alt="Image" and the operating system will insert the icon into the text.
Step 2
If you find it inconvenient to use the numeric keypad, use the standard OS program called the "Character Table". To run it, open the main menu by pressing the Win key, type "tab" and press the Enter key. The OS search engine will understand you from three letters, find and launch the desired program.
Step 3
Find the symbol in the application table and double-click on it with the mouse - the icon will appear in the "To copy" field. Click the copy button, go to the document you are typing and paste the contents of the clipboard by pressing the Ctrl + V key combination.
Step 4
When working in a word processor Microsoft Office Word, you can use the capabilities of the application itself. For example, enter the hexadecimal code for the character 00A9 (here A is latin), and then press alt="Image" + X. The code will be replaced with a copyright icon.
Step 5
Word has its own analogue of the system application "Symbol Table". To make it appear on the screen, go to the "Insert" tab and select "Other Symbols" in the "Symbol" drop-down list. After finding the icon, select it in the table and click the "Insert" button. After the first use, the sign will appear in the top-20 charts and you will no longer have to look for it in the table. To call it, it will be enough to open the list attached to the "Symbol" button and select the copyright sign in the twenty most used symbols.
Step 6
The best way to insert this character into HTML pages is to use the character primitives of that language. The copyright symbol corresponds to the code © - place it in the right place in the source code and the browser will display the symbol in the loaded page.
