VirtualBox is a program that allows you to run multiple virtual machines on one computer without rebooting. This is especially useful if you are testing software and need to work safely across different versions. VirtualBox runs on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux computers. VirtualBox can clone virtual machines easily.
Instructions
Step 1
From the File drop-down menu select the Export option. Select the virtual machine you want to clone from the list. Click "continue".
Step 2
Click the Continue button on the next screen. You don't need to enter anything here. Click the Finish button to start exporting the virtual machine.
Step 3
Select "Import Device" from the "File" menu. After the export is complete, click "Continue".
Step 4
Click the "Select" button and go to the directory. Select OVF file. Click on the "Open" button.
Step 5
Click the "Continue" button. Check all the settings in the window that appears.
Step 6
Click the Finish button. After that VirtualBox will import a clone of your virtual machine.
