Step 1
Hover your mouse over the sidebar and right-click. From the menu that appears, select Add Widget. You can also use the special "+" button located at the top of the panel. In the list that opens, select the application and press enter or double-click the left mouse button on the application. You can also just grab and drag an item. If the application you need is not in the list, use the search. Enter the name of the program in the search bar - the panel will immediately offer options. Search parameters can be set. To do this, click on the arrow next to the search area and specify the required parameters. For example, put a "check mark" next to "Recently installed applications" and click on the "Search" button.

To remove a gadget from the Windows sidebar, right-click the application area. Then select "Close gadget" from the drop-down list. You need to click on the application that should be removed from the general list. You can delete applications, add, edit parameters.
