Instructions
Step 1
Download a streaming video recorder from the Internet. Run the installer, select the automatic configuration option, check the box if you agree with the license terms (necessary for further use), complete the installation process.
Step 2
Open the installed program and configure the system if necessary. For the most part, such programs have an automatic configuration function and themselves determine the parameters of the existing Internet connection.
Step 3
If you have security software on your computer in the form of anti-virus programs or firewalls, then add to their list of exclusions those files that the video capture program uses directly to perform its tasks. The app will tell you their names.
Step 4
Install WinPcap to capture video from the network adapter. The installation program will automatically detect the type of your adapter, after which it will be ready to use.
Step 5
Start the video capture program, open a page with any online broadcast of interest in your web browser, turn it on, and it will automatically be recorded on your computer. Some programs offer the user a choice of the file extension in which the video broadcast is saved, or it can be changed in the configuration settings. Not all programs perform the recording function automatically upon receipt of a signal, so carefully read its interface. It is important that the program is running before you open the video stream.
Step 6
Set the start and end times for video recording if you cannot be at the computer during the broadcast. Also include her internet address. Most video capture and save programs support this function.
