If you choose all the parameters correctly, you can increase the number of concurrent sessions, distribute resources more equitably between different programs and users connected to Windows 2000 Server.

Go to the developer's site https://threadmaster.tripod.com and download the utility distribution kit.

Run the Install.cmd batch file. In the process of unpacking the archive, the program directory will appear in the System32 system folder, and registry keys will be created. When the installation is complete, the ThreadMast.exe service will start. You do not need to restart your computer.

This program does not have a GUI interface, so you need to configure it by changing the registry keys in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SYSTEM / CurrentControlSet / Services / ThreadMaster branch.
Step 5
To set the time interval for which the program will analyze the processor load, in this branch open Parameters / CPUThresholdPct. The value must be between 10-100 (seconds).
Step 6
The launch of an application or a batch file that is executed to force a decrease in the percentage of loading can be registered in the key of the specified branch Parameters / ThreadOverloadActionStart. And to remove the forced reduction in the percentage of CPU utilization, correct the variables in the Parameters / ThreadOverloadActionStop key.

To register the maximum value of the percentage of loading when a specific program is running, create a new key with the name of the process in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SYSTEM / CurrentControlSet / Services / ThreadMaster / Parameters / Applications. In the case of 1C, this process may be 1cv8.exe. In this key, set the parameter indicating the maximum percentage of the processor load from 1 to 100.

For processes that will not be subject to quotas, create additional registry keys in the main Thread Master "Parameters / Exceptions". The name of the key created in this location is the name of the process to exclude.
