Step 1
Open the computer control panel and select the Borderlands game from the Add / Remove Programs menu, usually the version is also written next to the name. If the information you need is not in this menu, use other methods. For example, view game information from the main menu by opening System Information. Also, in some versions of the game, the information you need can be inserted into one of the menu windows or into the image on the loading screen.

To view the Borderlands version of the game, open the folder with the installation files. Find a text document called Read Me and look at the information about the version of the game, usually it is written in this file. It is also easy to find this document on the program disk.

Review the information in the installation folder, in the exe file. Usually, data on the version of a computer game is written in the name of the setup file or its properties. Also look at the disc from which you installed the game on your computer. Carefully read the text on the front and back of the disc packaging, most often it contains the version of the game. If there is no information on the package, then try to insert the disc into the drive and find the version indication in the autorun menu that appears.
