Everyone who is faced with the need to make a drawing knows the AutoCad program, and everyone knows how difficult it is to master it. Russian developers have long ago made an analogue of "AutoCAD" - the "Compass" program, which allows you to draw even complex drawings and is much easier to work with.
Instructions
Step 1
The latest version of the program is "Compass-3D v. 12". On the official website of the developers, you can test the program online, as well as download the trial version. For a fully functional one, unfortunately, you have to pay, unless of course you are a professional hacker. Download the Compass installation file. The program can be used with all major operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Vista x64, Windows 7, Windows 7 x64.
Step 2
Install the program on your computer by running the Setup.exe file. The installer will guide you step by step on what to do. Choose the type of installation: Custom or Complete, depending on how well you understand the software. A full installation will boot all system components to your hard drive. With selective - only the configuration that you specify to the programs. During the installation process, the program will copy all components to your hard drive. You can interrupt the installation at any time if necessary. If necessary, also install the Compass application libraries: Macro and Materials and Assortments.
Step 3
After the program has been installed on your computer, launch it. In fact, it consists of three subroutines - actually "Compass-3D", "Compass-Graph" and "editor of technical documentation". At the first start, the program will first open the start page, and then the “Application View” window, in which you can configure the program so that it is convenient for you to use. On the start page, you can access the instructions for the program, go to the forum page, and also to the technical support website. In order to start working in the program, select in the main menu in the "File" - "New" section (or simply by clicking on the corresponding icon) the type of document being created (3D model, planar drawing or specification) and open a new document. It should be noted that the developers have specially created a toolbar similar to such commonly used programs as MS Word and MS Excel, so the program interface will not cause you any difficulties.
