Instructions

Step 1

Click the "Start" button to bring up the main menu of the Microsoft Windows operating system and go to the "Control Panel" item to perform the operation of restricting user access rights.

Step 2

Select the "Administration" item and expand the "Local Security Policy" link.

Go to the Software Restriction Policies section and select Additional Rules.

Step 4

Call the context menu of the selected item by clicking the right mouse button and select the "Create hash rule" command. This rule is universal and does not depend on the location of the selected file or its movements.

Click the "Browse" button in the dialog box that opens and specify the executable file of the application to be restricted in access.

Apply a check mark to the "Not Allowed" box in the "Security" section and close the dialog box.

Go back to the Software Restriction Policy and go to the Enforced section.

Specify the application of restrictions for all users except for local administrators of the computer and exit the application.

Return to the main menu "Start" and go to the "Run" item to perform an alternative operation to restrict the user in access rights.
