Step 1
Install one of the plugins from the AdBlock series to remove ads in the Google Chrome browser. Plugins are special free browser add-ons that make it easier to work with it. Launch Google Chrome and click on the main menu icon in the form of three bars, located in the upper right corner of the window, and go to the "Additional Tools" tab. Select "Extensions". Scroll down the page and click on the "More extensions" link.
Step 2
Find the AdBlock Plus plugin by scrolling down the extensions page. You can also choose one of the other similar applications, having read the description, the list of features and the rating of the users. Click on the plugin name and then click Install. The extension icon will appear at the top right of the browser. After that, annoying ads will stop bothering you.
Step 3
If you are still worried about pop-ups or other signs of a virus infection, try manually removing ads in Google Chrome. Go to the "Options" tab in the main menu and on the "Settings" page click on "Show advanced settings". Go to the "Privacy" section and click on "Content Settings". Here you should go to the item "Pop-up windows" and disable this function. Also select the Manage Exceptions tab to manually define and edit the list of site exceptions.

This indicates a serious virus infection, but in this case, you have the opportunity to remove ads in Google Chrome. First of all, go to advanced settings. Step 5
Go to the Extension Management tab. Remove all unnecessary add-ons, especially those that were installed without your knowledge. Restart your browser. If after doing this the problem is still not resolved, try resetting Google Chrome or reinstalling the browser.
