Agree to the "Activate copy over the Internet" offer. Read the Privacy Statement and click Next. Fill in all the required fields, and then enter the activation key to the system in the appropriate area. You can find it on the back of your operating system installation disc or visit Microsoft's website. Also, in some cases, the key is indicated in the document located in the root installation folder. After processing your application, the system will be successfully activated, and you will see the corresponding entry on the screen.
Step 3
Use your mobile or home phone to activate the system if you don't have an internet connection. Call the number suggested in the activation window and wait for the operator to answer. Inform him about the desire to complete the activation and read the license code. The operator will check the received data and confirm the activation of the system.
Step 4
Remember that after updating the computer software, formatting the hard drive or cleaning it from viruses, it may sometimes be necessary to reactivate Windows XP. An unlimited number of reactivations can be done on the same media. If you do not complete the activation procedure 30 days after the installation of the system, access to it will be suspended by the developers.
