The support of some functions by the operating system can be disabled by introducing some restrictions on the programs used. This applies not only to computers, but also to phones.
Necessary
access to the computer
Instructions
Step 1
In order to disable support for the function of displaying images and flash content of a computer browser, open its settings using a special menu in the toolbar. Go to the tab displaying items and turn on text-only view. Some browsers also have a dedicated button for quick access to this function or a "Reading" page view.
Step 2
In order to disable support for downloading videos using your Internet browser, use the removal of the flash player from the list of programs installed on your computer in the corresponding menu of the control panel, as well as in the settings for supported content, prohibit viewing video formats.
Step 3
If you want to disable flash and java on your computer, go to the settings of the modules displayed by the browser and disable them, after which the pages will load much faster than before.
Step 4
If you want to restrict the computer's support for performing certain functions, use the creation of user accounts with limited rights. This is done in the "User Accounts" control panel menu. Then, in the properties of the My Computer menu, restrict account owners' access to certain menu items.
Step 5
When installing games and programs, select further installation only for the current Windows user. Also, when restricting access to the Internet connection for other users, make a login and password in the connection menu for the current user only. After that, if these parameters were previously registered for other accounts, erase them from there.
Step 6
To create a restriction on the use of the software installation function, create an account without administrator rights, and set a password to perform actions on its behalf.
