Without a purchase, the program honestly fulfills the trial period and becomes inactive. Accordingly, your computer becomes susceptible to virus attacks. This means that Kaspersky needs to be activated.

Step 1
One of the ways is activation using a key received when purchasing a license. To do this, during installation, in the settings wizard, select the "Activate using a key file" menu item. Click on the "Next" button.

Click the "Browse" button and select the file with the key.
Step 3
After the required file is selected, the "Number", "Type" and "Date" lines will be filled in based on the information in the key. If the key is exactly the one you need, click "Next". After that, the final activation of Kaspersky Anti-Virus will take place.

Another way is with an activation code. Double click on the antivirus icon, which is located in the tray (near the clock). The main window of the program will start.
Step 5
Select the "License" tab. In the current window, click on the "Add / Remove" button. This will launch the Configuration Wizard.
Step 6
Select "Activate online" and click "Next".
Step 7
Enter your activation code and contact information. Be careful when writing numbers and email addresses. Click Next.
Step 8
If there are no errors, activation will be performed, which will be indicated by the line “Activation completed successfully”, in addition, the type of license and its expiration date will be indicated.
