Apple devices allow you to synchronize contacts and other important data stored in the operating system by the user. Synchronization is performed using the iTunes utility, which has extensive functionality. With its help, you can create a backup copy of almost any data.
Instructions
Step 1
Synchronization settings are made in iTunes. Before performing the operation, install the latest version of the application from the official website of the program or use the updates section in the program window.

Synchronization of contacts can be done using the USB cable that comes with the device. Open the program from an item in the Start menu or a shortcut on the desktop or Quick Launch. Connect your device to your computer and wait for it to be detected in the application.

Click on your device icon in the upper right corner of iTunes, and then click on the "Information" tab of the top toolbar.

Check the box next to "Synchronize contacts with" and from the list select a program suitable for you for storing contacts data or importing data. You can synchronize with Microsoft Outlook, Windows Contacts, Address Book (for MacOS) or Contacts.

During the synchronization process, you will see the contact lists that are stored in one of the selected applications. You can select all records or specify only individual items. You can add a group to which all recordings created on your device will be copied. You can also sync iTunes with your Gmail and Yahoo accounts.

In the "Add-ons" field of the iTunes window, check the box next to the "Contacts" section. Once all the settings are made, click "Synchronize" and wait until the end of the procedure. All your contacts will be securely stored in the selected location on your computer and can be restored or downloaded to your device.
Step 7
In case of problems in the operation of the device, the saved data can be used during the recovery procedure. To do this, connect your device to the computer using a cable and wait for it to be detected. Then right-click on the icon of your device in the left pane of iTunes ("View" - "Sidebar") and select "Restore from backup". All your contacts will be restored to your phone.
