Instructions

Step 1

In Microsoft Word, open the document for formatting. Select the paragraph of text for which you want to apply the style.

Step 2

On the toolbar, find the drop-down list where all the created styles for this document and the standard style templates are located. Choose the style you want. This will set the formatting of the selected text as specified in the style.

Step 3

If there is no list of styles on the toolbar, open it from the main menu. To do this, select "Format" - "Styles and Formatting". The styles panel will open in the editor on the right. In the window list, click on the style you need.

Step 4

Change the style, if desired, by setting the text formatting options. To do this, open the context menu of the drop-down list in the style panel. Select "Change …". In the dialog that appears, set the required formatting. Save all the changes made to the style by clicking the "OK" button.
