If you use MetaTrader4, you can supplement it with a Forex advisor - a special utility designed for automated trading on the stock exchange. The Expert Advisor can significantly facilitate your task - with its help, transactions on the exchange can be performed automatically, without the participation of a trader. The Expert Advisor will analyze market trends for a certain period, and based on them, it will draw up transactions to buy and sell currencies. For the modern trader, the installed Forex advisor can be a really useful assistant in the work.
Instructions
Step 1
To install an advisor, copy its file in ex4 or mq4 format to the directory where MetaTrade4 is installed on your computer, or rather, to the MetaTrade4 / Experts directory.
Step 2
Turn off MetaTrade4 and then start the program again and click on the "Navigator" window, in which you will find the "Expert Advisors" section. In this window, the EA that you just added to the terminal will appear.
Step 3
To activate the advisor for successful work, check its settings. In the trading terminal window, click on the "Service" menu tab and select "Settings" in the list that appears. In the settings, select the "Expert Advisors" tab.
Step 4
Find the line with the entry "Allow the EA to trade" and put a tick next to it. Then check the boxes next to "Allow DLL imports" if the advisor uses dynamic libraries, which should be located in the Experts / Libraries directory.
Step 5
Click OK, close the settings window and drag the EA to the trading chart from the navigator window with the left mouse button pressed. From this moment, the advisor will be activated, and you will be informed about this by a positive smiley that appears in the corner of the trading chart.
