Earning money in Forex for both beginners and experienced traders can become a much more pleasant and simple process if a so-called advisor or an automated trading expert is involved in the work.

Step 1
A trading advisor is a trading algorithm that makes life much easier for a trader by developing his trading strategy and executing transactions. In order for the advisor to work in your favor, you need to configure it correctly. First, install the Metatrader 4 terminal, which is easy to download on the Internet.
Step 2
Unpack the resulting archive and look for an executable exe-file. If this file exists, run it so that the program will automatically distribute the files into folders, and if it is not there, distribute them yourself.
Step 3
Find an Expert Advisor file in.х4 or.mql format and place it in the Metatrader4 / experts folder by copying it from the archive.
Step 4
Then take a look at the rest of the files that were present in the archive. Copy files of dynamic libraries of dll format to the Metatrader4 / experts / libraries folder, and transfer the set configuration files to the Metatrader4 / experts / presets folder. If the archive also contained ex4 or mql indicator files, transfer them to the same directory, to the indicators folder.
Step 5
After copying all the files, open the trading terminal and go to the "Service" section, and then open the settings. In the settings window, select, among others, the “Expert Advisors” tab and check the boxes “Enable Expert Advisors”, “Allow the Expert Advisor to trade”, “Allow DLL imports” and “Allow import of external experts”. Click OK.
Step 6
Now open the "Navigator" window by clicking on the button with a folder and an asterisk at the top of the terminal, and put a plus sign next to the "Expert Advisors" section. A list will open - select the necessary advisor from the list and drag it to the open chart of the trading terminal.
Step 7
In the window that appears, configure the advisor - change the size of the trading lot manually or download the ready-made file with the settings template, if it was available in the advisor's archive. Click OK. See if a smiley has appeared in the navigator window - if the smiley is smiling, then you have launched the Expert Advisor and it is working properly.
Step 8
In case of a malfunction, open the properties of the advisor and check if the boxes are ticked in the right places and if you have allowed the advisor to perform trading operations.
