Instructions
Step 1
Make sure that you understand correctly the main features of the Content Advisor tool ("Access Restriction"): - the ability to password-protect the set access parameters; - the ability to review and edit the ratings of acceptable content in the sections "Profanity," Naked bodies "; - Editing restriction parameters; - Creating catalogs of always forbidden resources, regardless of their rating; - Creating catalogs of always allowed nodes, regardless of their rating; - Possibility to edit the parameters of the ratings used.
Step 2
Call the main menu of the Microsoft Windows operating system by clicking the "Start" button and go to the "All Programs" item to perform the operation to enable restricting access to viewing certain Internet resources.
Step 3
Launch Internet Explorer and open the Tools menu in the top toolbar of the application window.
Step 4
Specify "Internet Options" and go to the "Contents" tab of the dialog box that opens.
Step 5
Click the "Enable" button in the "Access Restriction" section and use the "Settings" option to set the required restriction parameters.
Step 6
Go to the Grades tab of the new dialog and move the slider in each of the required categories to the desired Access Restriction value.
Step 7
Confirm the command execution by clicking OK and enter the desired password value in the system prompt window that opens.
Step 8
Remember or write down the selected password value, as it will be necessary to enter it each time you edit the restriction parameters.
Step 9
Go to the "General" tab and apply the check box next to "Allow password entry to view restricted sites" to enable other authorized users to view blocked Internet resources.

Click OK to confirm the command and click the Allowed Sites tab to define Always Allowed or Always Denied Web Sites.

Enter the URLs of the selected Internet resources and select the required access restriction category.

Confirm the application of the selected changes by clicking the OK button.
