Step 1
Microsoft has introduced a wonderful program called Movie Maker into the Windows XP operating system. Despite the name, it is not very suitable for working with video. the quality of the original recording is poor. But for cutting audio tracks, the program is one of the best and most convenient. Start Microsoft Movie Maker. Open the "Files" menu, find the "Import File" item and select the track you want to cut. With the left mouse button, select the part of the track that you want to delete on the visualization strip and press “Delete”. Repeat this operation until there are only those elements that you want to keep. Press Ctrl + S and select a directory to save the target file.
Step 2
If your operating system is Windows Vista or Seven, you will have to use another program. Download and install Sound Forge. Select the version of the program depending on your operating system. The principle of your actions will be similar to the algorithm described in the previous step.
