Step 1
When using an Nvidia graphics card, be sure to update the drivers for this device. Open the website www.nvidia.ru and go to the "Drivers" section. Fill out the form provided with your graphics card model (Nvidia 8600 GT / GS / GTS) and operating system.
Step 2
Download the proposed program and install it. Now download the Riva Tuner utility. Restart your computer after installing applications. Right click on the desktop. Go to the "Nvidia Control Panel" menu.

Click the Manage 3D Settings tab. Disable all possible items in this menu. Remember that this method will reduce the image quality, but will significantly improve the performance of the video card. Save the settings and close the control panel.
Step 4
Launch Riva Tuner and open the Home menu. Click the Configure button and select Driver Options. Activate the "Enable driver-level overclocking" item by checking the box next to it. Select a 3D operation mode from the drop-down menu.
Step 5
Find the "Memory Frequency" and "Core Frequency" fields. Change the position of the sliders in these paragraphs. Do not increase the frequencies too sharply. It is better to periodically raise the indicators by 40-50 MHz.
