WinRoute
Instructions
Step 1
Most routers are easy enough to configure to access the Internet from multiple computers and even laptops. Problems can arise only at the stage of setting up access to the local resources of the provider or IPTV. Open your web browser.
Step 2
Enter the IP of your router into its address bar. Fill in the Login and Password fields and click the Log in button to access the router settings. Open the advanced device settings menu.
Step 3
Navigate to Routing Table. Now change the routing parameters for one or more LAN ports of your router yourself.
Step 4
If you are using a stationary computer as a server, download and install the WinRoute program. Naturally, this utility is designed to work in the Windows operating system environment.
Step 5
Run the program. Open the Settings menu and navigate to the Routing Table item. In the English version, open the Configuration and Routing Table items. Use this program to modify or add (remove) static and dynamic routes. Note that the last type of routes must be configured after each system restart.
Step 6
To add a new route (static or dynamic) click the Add button. In the window that opens, write down the route IP address and subnet mask. Select the network adapter for which this route is added. List the default gateway for computers connected to this adapter.
Step 7
If you need to create a static route, then check the box next to the Create static route item. Save the program settings.
Step 8
If you already have a ready-made bin-file with a routing table, then right-click on it and select "Open with". Specify the Notepad program. Now change the parameters of the opened text menu yourself.
