Step 1
If you have a processor from AMD, then you can find out its bitness in this way. Click on the "My Computer" icon with the right mouse button. Then select "Properties". A window will open in which there will be basic information about your system, including the bitness of your processor.

You can also use additional programs. A very simple and handy utility for diagnosing your computer is called TuneUp Utilities. Find it on the Internet, download and install it on your hard drive.

Run the program. When you start it for the first time, you will have to wait a while until the program finishes analyzing your computer. After the scan is complete, you may also be prompted to optimize system performance. You can agree to optimization. It won't take a lot of time, but it can fix errors in the system.

After that, you will find yourself in the main menu of the program. Here go to the "Fix problems" tab. Then select "Show system information". Go to the "System Devices" tab and find the line "Identification". The values in this line contain information about the bitness of your processor.

Another very convenient program for identifying the processor bit capacity is CPU-Z. Download one of its latest versions. Some versions require installation. If you downloaded one, then install the program. Start CPU-Z. After it starts, wait for a while while it collects information about your system.
Step 6
Next, go to the Caches tab and find the Descriptor line. The value of this line contains the bitness of your processor. In addition, using the CPU-Z program, you can find out many of its other parameters, for example, view information about the motherboard and computer RAM.
