Choose a converter program that works both with the original extension of your video and encodes into the format you need. If there is a demo version, it will most likely work only with part of the file. There are also alternative free programs, their main differences in the supported recording formats.
Step 2
After you are familiar with the choice of a video converter program, download the installer to your computer, it is best to download it from the official websites of the developers to prevent the ingress of malicious code and viruses. Install the converter software on your computer, carefully following the instructions in the installation menu items.

If necessary, complete the registration of the software product after previewing the work in demo mode. When paying for a license online, follow the address in the browser bar and use the virtual on-screen keyboard.

Enter the license key of the software product and then start encoding the video. Open the movie you want to change the codec in from the File or Browse menu of your program.
Step 5
Add it to the coding list, and then be sure to correctly specify the final parameters, since after starting the process you cannot change them.
