A blinking envelope on the phone screen (mobile or landline) is an indicator of a new message or a call. There are several ways to get rid of it. Sometimes it appears even when all messages on the phone are deleted.

Step 1
Go to your phone's Messages menu to get rid of the flashing envelope. Often this problem arises due to the saved old messages on the SIM card, and then the white envelope constantly blinks at the bottom of the screen. Then select "Functions", go to "Messages on Sim". View all messages, delete unnecessary ones, and copy the necessary ones to the phone memory. Check your phone for a flashing envelope.

Make sure your phone memory is not full. Sometimes a blinking envelope on the screen may indicate that a new message has been received, but it cannot be saved due to lack of free space. Go to the message settings of your phone, set the option to save messages to the memory card.
