Step 1
Remove the color cartridge from the product and try printing in ink-backup mode. If the system gives you a message about the further printing of the document in grayscale, read it carefully to the end, if you see that the program offers to continue printing in black, agree. Do the same if you run out of ink in a color cartridge and receive a similar notification from the system.
Step 2
Reinstall the driver on your printer, after completely removing the old one and cleaning the registry. Install updated versions whenever possible. Choose to update drivers only according to the operating system you are using, otherwise, it may not be recognized.

Check to see if it prints in black when using a removable storage connection to the printer (if your model has USB Direct Printing). If you also have problems, try taking the device to a service center for further flashing with the program.

It is not recommended to perform this operation on your own, since you are unlikely to be able to find the software you need. You can try to reflash it at home only with the official program, but this is unlikely to help.

Use the simplest option - refill a color ink cartridge or buy a new one.
