Despite the fact that modern laser printers have a very long resource, work after refueling for a long time and are able to print from 500,000 to 1,000,000 printed sheets, you still have to change the cartridge from time to time.
If you have not done this yet, you will be interested in a few recommendations.
Necessary
new toner and hard brush
Instructions
Step 1
Pull the cartridge out of the printer. Typically, the cartridge consists of two parts, interconnected by latches or fixing inserts. Separate these halves before refilling the cartridge.
If your cartridge is type HP C3903A, HP 92274A or E16, then the new toner will have a transverse hole into which new powder is poured. It is better to do this in small portions in order to distribute the toner along the entire length of the cartridge. In this case, you do not need to remove the plug.
Step 2
Clean the hopper and elements of the cartridge from the remains of the used powder. To do this, carefully remove the light-sensitive drum. The drum is easy to find - it will definitely be colored, blue or pink.
Step 3
Then, preferably with a stiff brush, clean the gears from the remains of caked toner.
Step 4
Pour new powder into the cartridge.
Step 5
After you have successfully cleaned and refilled the cartridge with new toner, reassemble it in the reverse order and reinsert it into the printer.
