Lately, printer manufacturers have been trying to protect their cartridges from refilling. Starting with models 1641/1645, Samsung is introducing protection in the form of a special chip. This creates a lot of problems for users and forces them to buy expensive consumables. But there is another, cheaper and more practical way.

Instructions
Step 1
Training. The first step is to prepare your work area before refueling. To do this, choose a bathroom in order to eliminate dusty apartment. Next, you need to protect your face from toner, a respirator or gauze bandage (in several layers) is suitable for this. Put on rubber gloves on your hands.
Step 2
Take tools: Phillips and slotted screwdrivers, funnel, damp cloth, cartridge, toner.
Step 3
Refueling. First, remove the top cover from the cartridge. To do this, unscrew the two screws on both sides of the cartridge. Then unscrew the two screws on the left of the cartridge and carefully remove the side cover. The hopper is usually full of used toner. It must be shaken out. The main thing is to do it carefully, without sudden movements.
After cleaning the hopper with a slotted screwdriver, carefully remove the plug. Then put new toner into the hole, close the hopper and reassemble the cartridge in reverse order. After the cartridge is refilled, it can be installed in the printer.
Step 4
If, after installing the cartridge, the toner indicator remains red and the printer does not want to print, then turn off the printer and remove the back cover, find the 93C66 microcircuit, which is located on a small board.
Next, find the 1st and 4th legs. The countdown goes counterclockwise, when viewed from above and using a conventional soldering iron, solder a jumper between them. Each time the printer is turned on, the printer's counters will be reset to their initial value. A proven method, it always works great.
Step 5
Print quality is highly dependent on the quality of the toner. It is best to use American-made universal toner, which is suitable for refilling Samsung and Xerox cartridges. The standard capacity of a toner bottle is usually 1000 g.
