Most Counter-Strike players sooner or later set themselves the goal of creating their own video clip. The problem is that a regular demo recorded during the game cannot be played with video players.

Instructions
Step 1
To create a video clip, you need Counter-Strike installed. If not, install it. Copy the name.dem file to the cstrike folder. Run the program and enter the viewdemo name command in the console. Now, for convenience, enter the commands bind k startmovie moviename 25 and bind l endmovie. Do not forget to set the screen resolution in the game to at least 800x600. This parameter directly affects the quality of the future clip.
Step 2
When the demo playback reaches the desired point, press the k button. Press the l button to stop creating files. Change the name of the moviename each time before starting recording new fragments. Please note that you will need approximately 8 GB of free space to create a three-minute video.
Step 3
You now have several sets of pre-made.bmp files. Download and install VideoMach software. Open the File menu and click the Open button. Select the necessary bmp files and add them to the program list.
Step 4
Now click on the Save button located to the right of your list. From the Files menu, select the avi file type and check the box next to Video and Audio. This will add sound to the video clip.
Step 5
Now open the Video tab and click the Format Options button. Select the DivX Codec option and click the Configure button. Set the bitrate parameter value. The higher the bitrate, the better the clip quality will be. Naturally, the final size of the video file also depends on the bitrate.
Step 6
Now press the Ok button and go to the main menu of the program. Next, click on the Start button icon. Wait for the video clip creation to complete. Note that the higher the bitrate value, the faster the final clip will be created. Do not set the bitrate too high. This can result in a 60 second video clip taking up 2 GB of space on your hard drive.
