It is very possible to create a quite decent drawing with a mouse. Another thing is that it will take a lot of time and will require effort. However, some get by with a mouse and are not going to buy a tablet. It happens that a person gets so used to drawing with a mouse that then it is difficult for him to switch to a tablet.
Step 2
One of the problems with drawing with a mouse is that the lines are difficult to make smooth and even, they can get confused and turn into zigzags. To some extent, this can be compensated for by repeatedly increasing the scale of the document, so it is more convenient to draw the details. From time to time you can zoom out and evaluate the result. Instead of trying to draw a long line, it is better to use more individual strokes and strokes. If you need a straight line, use the appropriate tool in the editor, adjusting the desired thickness and color.

When drawing simple images like a snowman or a Christmas tree, take geometric shapes as a basis - circles, triangles, etc., and then fill them with color, add light and shade and details. To even paint over some area, first select it, and then paint over - this way you will not be able to go beyond the area, and the drawing will be neat.

There is one more way. Sketch the contours of the drawing on a regular sheet of paper with a pencil, photograph or scan, open the picture in a graphic editor and draw the outlines and paint there.
