After refilling the TN-2075 ink cartridges that came with the Brother HL-2030 printer, a low ink message appears on the screen when printing. This is usually due to incorrect filling of the toner cartridge. This problem can be avoided by using the zeroing function of a refilled cartridge.

Instructions
Step 1
After an unsuccessful refilling of the cartridge, you need to prepare the printer, namely, turn it on and open the front cover. It is worth noting that after connecting the computer to the electrical network, you must also turn on the power button on the back wall.
Step 2
Open the printer cover. Press the new toner sensor (use a screwdriver). At the same time it is necessary to press the sensor for opening the lid. The toner sensors and cover openers are nearby. Their location may be different if you have a modification of the HL-2030 model.
Step 3
After a few seconds, you should hear the characteristic sound of the print mechanism motor starting. Now release the new toner sensor, you don't need a screwdriver anymore. Leave the cover open sensor in the same position.
Step 4
Wait for the light to come on, which indicates the printer is ready for operation (Ready light). As a rule, the indicator starts to light evenly after 15-20 seconds of blinking.
Step 5
You can now release the lid open sensor. Close the front cover of your printer. To check the result, insert blank pages into the appropriate tray and click the Go button three times or click the Test Print button in the printer properties window.
Step 6
You can check the correctness of the actions on the configuration page, in the open window go to the Replace Count section, the value of the Toner item should increase by one. If for some reason the printer refuses to print even a test page, try again from the beginning. It is also worth checking to see if the cartridge has actually been refilled.
Step 7
An alternative solution to this problem is to buy a new cartridge that has a built-in zeroing function when refueling. The cartridges that come with the kit do not have this function.
