Step 1
If you do not need to connect network computers to the Internet, then purchase a hub. This device must have a sufficient number of LAN connectors. Connect the network hub to the mains, having previously installed it in the desired place.

Purchase the required number of network cables of the specified length with connectors at both ends. If you have a twisted pair crimper, purchase a power cord and RJ-45 connectors. Create as many of your own network cables as needed.
Step 3
Turn on the computers and connect them to the hub. To do this, plug one end of the cable into the LAN port located on the network interface card of your computer, and the other into a similar connector on the hub. Make sure that the connector is firmly fixed with the special latch. It is necessary to prevent accidental disconnection of the cable from the slot.
Step 4
Wait while the operating system detects a new network connection. Set up this connection. Usually, with this scheme of building a local network, stationary IP addresses are used. This allows you to quickly access the computer you want without having to search for it in Network Discovery every time. Open the list of active network connections. Right-click the icon of the required network card and select "Properties".
Step 5
Now open the TCP / IP settings. Activate the Use the following IP address option. Enter the numeric value for the permanent IP. Configure the rest of the computers in the same way. Better to use IP addresses that match the first three segments. To make it easier to enter addresses, use simple combinations such as 10.10.10.4. To open a list of network folders on another computer, press the "Start" and R keys at the same time. Enter / 10.10.10.4 in the field that appears.
