After the next reinstallation of the operating system, someone first of all installs their favorite games, someone returns to the desktop the usual look, changing the theme and screensaver, screen resolution, replacing standard icons with custom ones. And someone first of all reconfigures the mouse, because the habit of launching programs or opening files with one click of the mouse is almost impossible to destroy. If your index finger is tired of doing double work, but you do not know how to remove a double click, read and follow a few simple steps that will save you the trouble of working out your finger joints and getting on your nerves with frequent mouse clicks.
Instructions
Step 1
Open any folder from anywhere on your computer and select "Tools" from the top menu bar.
Step 2
In the drop-down menu, select the item "Folder options" and click on it with the left mouse button.
Step 3
In the window that appears, select the "General" tab and in the lower section "Mouse clicks" set the marker on the first mark - "Open with one click, select with pointer".
Step 4
Click the "Apply" button, close the folder properties window ("OK" or the "X" in the upper right corner of the window) and allow your finger to rest.
Step 5
To reset these settings, you can return the marker to the "Open with a double click and select with one click" mark, or simply click the "Restore defaults" button located just below, click the "Apply" button and close the folder properties window.
