Most modern computers and laptops support work with several display devices at once. In this case, we are talking not only about monitors, but also TVs, projectors and other devices.

Instructions
Step 1
Start by choosing the interface through which the devices will be connected. The following ports of video cards are most often used: D-Sub (VGA), DVI-D, HDMI. Find the corresponding channel in the device that will be connected to the computer.
Step 2
Purchase the correct cable format. Consider the fact that digital channels are recommended to connect to modern TVs. Transmitting an analog signal will significantly degrade the image quality.
Step 3
Connect the video adapter to the desired device. Turn on your computer and wait for the operating system to load. Most likely, the image will be transferred to the second screen only after the OS is started.
Step 4
Set up synchronous display for multiple devices. Open Control Panel and select the Appearance and Personalization menu.
Step 5
In the "Display" submenu, select "Connect to external device". Wait for the new dialog to start. Select the device sharing mode.
Step 6
If you have connected a projector, it is wiser to use the dubbing function. In the "Screen" item, select a standard monitor and activate the "Make this display primary" function. Now select the projector and activate the "Duplicate to this screen" option.
Step 7
When connecting an additional monitor or TV, the expansion mode is usually used. It allows you to enlarge the desktop area and use both displays independently of each other. After selecting the primary device, highlight the second display icon. Activate the item "Extend to this screen".
Step 8
Save the settings. When the computer is turned on, the image will be transferred to the main display. Keep this in mind when choosing a master device.
