Traveling around the Minecraft universe is accompanied by the extraction of certain items. One day the moment comes when the entire inventory is full. How to deal with such a situation? You need to find a place where you can put unnecessary things. Therefore, we will figure out how to make a chest in Minecraft.
Instructions
Step 1
There are several types of chests in the Minecraft world. The most common single one can hold 27 different things or 1728 blocks. The chest can be placed as a block both inside the dwelling and outside it.
Step 2
To make a chest, first obtain a tree and create planks from it. You will need 8 planks for one chest. Stock up on plenty of resources right away to make multiple objects.
Step 3
Crafting a chest is as follows. On the workbench, place blocks of planks everywhere except in the center. You can place 2 boards in each slot and get 2 chests. Adjust the amount of resources as you see fit.
Step 4
Place the finished chest on some surface. Make sure that there is free space around, otherwise it may simply not open. The following blocks will not prevent the opening of the chest: torch, another chest, fence, bed, cupcakes, stairs, snow, glass, cactus, leaves, lava and water.
Step 5
To create a large chest, place two small ones side by side on a flat surface. It will have 54 storage slots. It can fit 3456 blocks. You cannot keep two large chests next to each other.
Step 6
The trap chest is no more difficult than usual. A small moment - it cannot be placed near a regular chest. Place a regular chest in the center of the workbench, with a tension gauge to the left of it. You can place two trap chests next to each other.
Step 7
To use the chest, you need to right-click on it. To move items to or from the chest quickly, hold down the Shift key and poke at the items. Left click to pick up all items. Right clicking will pick up half of the items. Right-click to place one item from the stack while holding it. You can close the chest with the Esc button.
Step 8
Chests can be found in the Minecraft world in Npc villages, in dungeons, abandoned mines, temples, thickets, fortresses and the desert. You have learned how to make a chest in Minecraft, and now the problem with an overabundance of items in the inventory has been solved.
