Instructions

Step 1

Open the photo and copy it to a new layer by choosing the Layer via copy command from the Layer menu. This must be done so as not to damage the main image with various manipulations.

Step 2

Use the Healing Brush Tool ("Healing Brush") from tool group J to fix the skin defects. To do this, left-click with the alt="Image" key pressed on the healthy skin area next to the problematic one. The tool will identify the marked drawing as a reference. Then click on the defect. The area will be replaced with a reference pattern, i.e. depicting healthy skin.

Step 3

Choose a drawing for a sample so that it does not differ too much from the problem area in color and light. Process the entire image this way.

Step 4

Duplicate the image on a new layer. From the Filter menu, choose Liquify. Using the tools of this program, you will change the facial features of the model. To zoom in on the image, use Zoom ("Loupe"), to move away - the same tool while holding down the Alt key.

Step 5

Use the Hand Tool to move the photo. To avoid damaging any image details during correction, cover them with the Freeze Mask Tool. You can remove the mistakenly applied protection with the Thaw Mask Tool.

Step 6

For example, if you want to change the shape or size of the nose, paint over the cheeks, eyes, and the area between the nose and mouth. If you are enlarging your eyes, apply protection to the upper and lower eyelids, etc. On the right on the property bar, set the mask parameters - brush size, hardness and density (Density and Pressure). The higher the value of the last two parameters, the stronger the protection.

Step 7

To enlarge the eyes or make the lips more plump, select the Bloat Tool. Reduce the stiffness and density value to 20 percent so that the tool is not too harsh. Choose a brush diameter larger than the part you want to enlarge. Move the cursor over the object and left-click.

Step 8

To reduce some detail, such as the nose, use the Pucker Tool. Set the brush parameters the same as for the Bloat Tool. Click on the bridge of the nose and on the wings of the nose no more than two times, otherwise the adjustment will be too rough.

Step 9

Tool Push Left Tool ("Pixel Shift") can serve both to increase and to reduce the size of the fragment. If you circle an element counterclockwise, it decreases, if you circle it clockwise, it increases. With its help, it is convenient, for example, to change the shape of the eyebrows. To raise them, move the cursor under the eyebrows from left to right.

Step 10

In the same way, you can change the shape of the eyes, make them look like a cat. Raise the outer corners of the eyes by swiping from left to right. If you lift the corners of your lips, you get a smiling face, etc.

Step 11

To undo a failed action, click the Reconstruct button. Use Restore all to undo all changes.
