Icons are small icons that can be used to visually distinguish different groups of users, to make the design of the site or your computer less standard and strict. To set icons for user groups, you need to perform a number of steps.
Instructions
Step 1
Log in to the site under an administrator account. Enter the "Control Panel". In the "Users" section in the "User Management" category, select the "User Groups" item by clicking on it with the left mouse button.
Step 2
Opposite the desired user group (guests, moderators, administrators, and so on) click on the image of the wrench. This will activate the "Change group properties and rights" command. On the page that opens, in the "Group icon (Direct link to file)" field, paste the link to the desired image. Click on the "Save" button.
Step 3
You can get a link to an image from various sources. Use the file manager: in the top menu bar, select the "Tools" section and left-click on the "File manager" item - a new dialog box will open.
Step 4
In the window that opens, click on the "Browse" button and specify the directory in which the icon image is saved. Click the "Upload file" button, wait until the download is complete. Using the tools located on the right side of the "File Manager" window, open the window with a direct link and copy the link from it.
Step 5
Alternatively, upload the image to a third-party photo hosting site, such as radikal.ru or Keep4u.ru. Click on the "Browse" button on the hosting page, specify the path to the file saved on your computer, and click on the "Download" button. Wait until the download is complete, get the link, copy it to the clipboard and paste it into the required field on your website.
Step 6
To change the icons for user or administrator accounts on your computer, open the Control Panel from the Start menu. In the "User Accounts" category, click on the icon of the same name. Select the account to change.
Step 7
Click on the link-link "Change the image" and from the proposed options select the icon (picture) that you like by clicking on it with the left mouse button. Click on the "Change Picture" button, close the window. This icon will be displayed on the login page and on the Start menu.
