Often during the operation of the Intercross modem there is a need to open additional ports, for example, in order to access a certain program via the Internet or launch a network game that requires certain ports for its operation. Almost all ports are closed by default for security. To open ports, you need to perform the following sequence of actions.
Instructions
Step 1
Open any internet browser and enter the internal IP address in the address bar (192.168.1.1 by default).
Step 2
On the page that opens, go to the Advansed Setup tab, select Nat and click the Virtual servers button.
Step 3
Click the Add button, in the menu that opens, select the Custom application item. Arbitrarily enter the name of the port to open, in the Server Ip adress line, enter the address 192.168.1.2, this address can be checked by reading the instructions at the bottom of the window.
Step 4
In the table provided, enter the numbers of the ports to open, if you need to open only one port, you can enter the same numbers. Click the Save / Apply button.
If, after completing the settings, the commit / reboot button appears, click it, after which the modem will reboot, new ports will be opened.
