Almost everyone knows, especially for those involved with networking equipment, Acorp recently released a new line of ADSL devices. As always, they are attractive not only for their quality, but also for their price. But the first lucky ones, after purchasing new routers, had questions: will these routers work with the Stream channel? And what problems can arise when configuring these routers to work with the Stream channel?
Instructions
Step 1
Connect the router to the network card.

In the address bar of the browser, type "10.0.0.2"
Step 3
In the window that opens, enter the username "admin", the password "epicrouter". In the event that the computer cannot find the connected device, you need to check the correctness of the connection. To do this, follow these steps:
- Start - Control Panel - Network Connections, and using the right mouse button, open the connection properties. In the connection properties, go to the General tab, select Internet Protocol (TCP / IP), and open the protocol properties. Here you need to check the item "Obtain an IP address automatically", and "Obtain DNS server address automatically". Next, you need to check the "HTTP Proxy" option, it must be disabled. This option is checked in the settings of the browser used.

Open the command line Start - Run and using the commands "ipconfig / release" and "ipconfig / renew", you need to achieve the correct connection between the computer and the router.
Step 5
It is better to start configuring routers by setting the factory settings. To install, you need to set all the default settings. Select "Reset to Factory Default"

Next, in the "WAN Configuration" section, activate the "Bridge" operating mode. To do this, select the "Enabled" item in the drop-down menu.
Step 7
Set the "Encapsulation" menu item to "1482 Bridged IP LLC".
Step 8
Below you will see a group of ATM options. In it, define the value of the VPI virtual path identifier, set the value to 1, and the VCI virtual circuit, the value should be 50.
Step 9
Go to the "ADSL Configuration" section. Here you need to check that the “Handshake Protocol” field is set to “Autosense - G.dmt first”. If this setting is done correctly, then the router will automatically select the required protocol.

Now it remains to check the operation of the router. To do this, run Diagnostic Test.
