Despite the fact that drivers are usually made out in a self-extracting archive, you can often find files that are archived with an additional program. In such cases, you must have the appropriate software installed on your computer to extract the driver.

Instructions
Step 1
Unpacking the driver in a self-extracting archive. You do not need to install any additional software on your computer to extract such a driver. The system will automatically extract and install the driver on the PC. To extract this type of driver, you need to run it with administrator rights. To do this, right-click on the file and follow the "Run as" link. Check the box next to the "Administrator" item in the window that opens and click the "OK" button. The driver will be extracted and installed on your computer.
Step 2
If the driver is archived with an additional program, you can extract it by installing the WinRAR profile application on your computer. You can download this application on the Internet using any search system. As soon as you download the archiver to your computer, you need to carry out a comprehensive scan for viruses. If the installation file is not infected, install it on your PC, rebooting the system is optional.
Step 3
Once you have installed WinRAR, open the driver archive. Click on the driver folder with the left mouse button and, while holding it, drag the folder to the desktop. The file will be released from the archive. You should now be able to extract the driver. To do this, you need to perform the same actions with the file that were previously described in the first step. Note that for the extracted driver to work correctly, after its installation, a reboot of the operating system is required. Otherwise, the installed extension may not work correctly.
