To create volumes located on several partitions at once and to increase the degree of data safety, we recommend using dynamic disks. Such discs can be created using standard Windows functions.

Instructions
Step 1
Connect the hard drive you want to convert to dynamic to your computer. Turn on this PC and wait for the operating system to finish loading. Open the start menu and go to the control panel.
Step 2
Select the System and Security menu and navigate to the Administration submenu (Windows Seven OS). Left-click on the "Computer Management" shortcut. Find the "Storage" submenu in the left column and expand it. Go to Disk Management.
Step 3
Now right-click on the icon of the hard drive you want to change. Select Convert to Dynamic Disk. Please note that you need to change the type of the entire hard disk, not one of its partitions. Select the hard drive you want to convert and click the "OK" button. Now click the "Convert" button and confirm the launch of this operation.
Step 4
If you want to convert the hard drive where the operating system is installed, it is better to save the important data for you first. To do this, use the disk copy function available in Partition Manager. Run this utility and select Advanced Mode.
Step 5
Now open the Wizards menu and select the Copy Hard Drive option. Select the hard drive you want to create a copy of and click the "Next" button. Specify the unallocated area of the second hard drive. In its place, copies of the partitions of the first hard drive will be created. Click "Next".
Step 6
Click Finish to complete the preparation for copying. Open the "Changes" menu and click on the "Apply Changes" item. Confirm the start of the hard disk copy process. Be sure to check the copied data.
