In each subsequent version of the operating system of the Windows line, developers bring new technologies: the appearance changes, the response speed decreases when working with programs, etc. But there are elements that are just being finalized, for example, a disc burning program.
Necessary

- - Software "Burn discs" ("Explorer");

Instructions
Step 1
As part of the standard software, you can find a disc burning program that burns discs using Explorer. After the release of the Windows XP operating system, its functionality was constantly being improved, in the latest versions it became possible to burn DVDs and close the recording session.
Step 2
First of all, you will need a blank disc, insert it into your drive. Then select the files or folders with files that you plan to burn to disk. Right-click on them to bring up a context menu. In the list of commands that opens, select the general command "Send" and select your drive as a source.
Step 3
You will see the "Burn Disc" program window, in which you will be asked about the method of writing files and folders to the media. For simple copying of information, it is recommended to use the option "Like a flash drive"; for playing discs on multimedia devices, it is recommended to check the box next to the item "With CD / DVD player".
Step 4
After clicking on the "Next" button, a list of files for recording will begin to form. Then the program will start copying files and folders automatically, i.e. burning a disc. Pay attention to the recording mode "Like a flash drive", with it you can use one disc for reusable recording.
Step 5
Before viewing or using such a disk, you must close the session; by default, this happens after the recording is completed using the LFS file system (flash drive mode). If not, go to the "Computer" applet and click on the recorder, in the control panel, click the "Close session" button. After a while, the session will be completely terminated and a corresponding notification will appear on the screen.
