Configure the parameters of the router. To do this, use one of the computers connected to the network equipment. To simplify further configuration, you can use the DHCP function. It is important to understand that its use is not always convenient in the field of office networks.

If you are using a network hub or have not activated the DHCP function of the router, configure each personal computer. To do this, set the appropriate IP address values for their network cards.

Remember that experts recommend using IP addresses that are on a shared subnet. If you are unable to determine the subnet mask yourself, set the IP addresses for all PCs that differ only in the fourth segment.

Create your own workgroup and configure security settings. This allows you to quickly add new computers to the network, disconnect unnecessary devices, and synchronize access to shared resources.
