Often, photos prepared for publication in the media require special processing in order to conceal the identities of the people represented on them. A similar effect can be achieved by making changes to the image that make it impossible to take biometric parameters. For example, hiding the eye area. Instructions
Step 1
Load an image into Adobe Photoshop that contains the face you want to close your eyes on. To do this, in the File section of the main application menu, select the "Open As …" or "Open …" item. You can also use the corresponding keyboard shortcuts - Ctrl + Alt + Shift + O or Ctrl + O. Navigate to the desired media and directory in the displayed dialog. Highlight the required file. Click the "Open" button.
Step 2
For more convenient work, zoom in and scroll the image so that the main area of the document window is occupied by the processed area (eyes). Use the Zoom tool for this, outlining the desired fragment, or enter a value for the scale in the text box below, and then use the scroll bars.
Step 3
Create a rectangular marquee around the area of the image that contains the eyes, which should be closed. Activate the Rectangular Marquee Tool. Circle the desired fragment. Adjust the selection. From the menu, choose Select and Transform Selection. Move the edges of the frames to position them precisely. Double click on the inside of the selection to apply the changes.
Step 4
Close your eyes with a black rectangle. This is the most common way to hide parts of an image. Set the foreground color to black (although you can use any other color). Activate the Paint Bucket tool. Click with the mouse on the inner selection area created in the third step.
Step 5
Close your eyes with a mosaic of the part of the image that contains them. This method is also often used (in particular on television) to hide people's faces. Select Filter Pixelate and Mozaic… from the menu. In the dialog that appears, check the Preview box, set the appropriate value for the Cell Size parameter and click the OK button.
Step 6
Save the resulting image. Press Ctrl + Shift + S or use the "Save As …" item in the File section of the main menu. In the Format list of the dialog that appears, specify the target storage format. Go to the directory where you want to save the file, enter its name in the corresponding field. Click the Save button.
