Before posting a photo on the Internet or printing it, you need to make sure that there are no imperfections in the image. If you notice some imperfections, such as a lack of expressiveness and sparkle in the eyes, use the tools of the Photoshop editor.
Instructions
Step 1
First, start the graphics editor and open the desired photo in it. Then create a base for editing by selecting the "Layer" section in the top toolbar and the "New Layer" subsection. Title the created Photoshop element - "Eyes".
Step 2
Draw the outline of the eyes using the Quick Selection tool. To add a new region to the fragment just separated, press the "+" sign while using the tool. If you want to exclude an area of the eye from the selection, press the "-" sign.
Step 3
On a new "Eyes" layer, grab the Brush tool, set it to black and draw along the path you've made. The black color will be visible only inside the selection area.
Step 4
Then find the Normal blending option at the top of the Layers box and change it to Multiply. Then set the transparency parameter on the right side of the window to about 40%.
Step 5
Press the combination of the Ctrl key and the letter D, removing the path line. Then use the Quick Selection tool again, only now draw out the iris of the eyes.
Step 6
Feather the outlined area. To do this, find the "Selection" tab and select the "Modification" subsection. In the list of functions that appears, click on "Feather" and set the radius parameter to 5 pixels.
Step 7
Go to the "Background" layer and press Ctrl, alt="Image" and the letter D, copying this selection to a new layer. Apply to the newly created element a filter called "Unsharp Mask" found in the "Sharpness" subsection of the "Filter" section. Then reduce the opacity of the second layer to 60%.
Step 8
Take the Dodge tool and paint a couple of strokes towards the inner corners of the eyes, adding some kind of highlights. Then click on "Save" in the "File" section of the menu and the photo with expressive sparkling eyes is ready.
