Instructions

Step 1

Open Photoshop. Turn on the layers palette by pressing F7. Select and open the photo you want. It is desirable, but not necessary, that the photograph be large enough. Make a copy of the background layer. Right-click on the anchored Background layer and choose Duplicate Layer from the menu.

Step 2

Click on the Background copy layer to activate it. Change the blending mode Normal ("Normal") to Screen ("Lightening") in the upper left corner of the window. Click on the Layer tab of the top menu and select Layer Mask first, then Hide All. This will add a mask to the layer.

Step 3

Select a brush from the toolbox or press AND on your keyboard. Set the brushes to white. Zoom in on the photo using the Navigator. Paint over the eyes on the mask. Reduce the Opacity in the Layers panel to the value that suits you the most. Type in the box with 100% as the desired value.

Step 4

Make the iris brighter in a different way. Open and enlarge the image. Press Sh on the keyboard. In the layers panel, you will see that the tool used appears to be depressed. Click on the tool with the right mouse button and select the Dodge Tool ("Clarifier").

Step 5

Duplicate the background layer with Ctrl + J. Paint over the iris several times with the Dodge tool. Lower the opacity of the layer if necessary, or change the blending mode to Overlay or Soft Light.

Step 6

Use the Magnetic Lasso tool to enhance the look of your eyes. Open the photo. Select the iris with the Magnetic Lasso Tool. This tool can be activated by pressing the L button and on the toolbar by right-clicking on the tool. Select "Magnetic Lasso". Copy the selection by pressing Ctrl + J. Change the blending mode to Screen ("Lightening") and adjust the opacity if necessary.

Step 7

Open the required photo. Create a new layer by pressing Ctrl + Shift + N. Take a soft white brush and paint two spots on the iris on a new layer. Erase the excess with the Eraser tool. Change the blending mode to "Overlay". Change the opacity to achieve the desired result.

Step 8

Open the image. Select the eyes with the Magnetic Lasso Tool. Open the tab of the top menu Layer ("Layers"), then the group New Adjustment Layer ("New adjustment layer") and there click on Curves ("Curves"). Move the curved window that opens so that you can see the eyes. Put points on a straight line, curving it. Drag the points while holding the left mouse button. Follow the result. When the desired result is achieved, click OK.
