While working on a document, it becomes necessary to correct it: stylistic errors, punctuation and spelling errors. If you work with a large number of documents, chances are high that you will miss some mistakes or not fix old ones. In the latest version of Microsoft Office Word, these changes can be traced even after you save the file. It is also now possible to display these annotated callouts directly in the document itself.
Necessary
Microsoft Office Word software
Instructions
Step 1
In order to make corrections to a MS Word document, first of all, you need to open the program. The MS Word shortcut is in the Start menu - All Programs - Microsoft Office - MS Word.
Step 2
Open any previously created document. Click the "File" - "Open" menu.
Step 3
Make changes to the document using the system keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl + C; Ctrl + V, Ctrl + X; Ctrl + Z), as well as the edit keys (Del, Ins, Enter).
Step 4
After changing the document, do not forget to save it by pressing the Ctrl + S key combination or the "File" - "Save" menu.
Step 5
If you want to turn on Record Corrections, reopen your document.
Step 6
In the window that opens, go to the "Overview" tab - the "Registration of changes" group, click on the "Record corrections" element.
Step 7
In order for the changes you made to this document to be displayed in the status bar of the editor, you must right-click on this panel. Select "Fixes" from the drop-down context menu. In order to activate or deactivate the recording mode, you must click the "Corrections in the status bar" indicator.
Step 8
When you turn off the "Record corrections" mode, all changes made by you will be permanently stored in this file. Thus, there is no need to work with the always on mode. To restore individual blocks of a document, it is enough to activate this mode, make changes and turn it off.
