But if you do not do this for a long time, the processor will overheat, and the cooler will work harder. This situation, among other things, can create discomfort for the very work in the operating system, i.e. sometimes applications can slow down, glitch, etc. because of this.

Sometimes the noise can be caused by the cooler even though the processor is not overheating too much. The fact is that, as a rule, poor quality coolers are installed in cheap computer models (for example, office / budget models). This situation, if it is critical (the cooler often works very noisy), can only be changed by replacing the cooler. In order to get rid of the loud noise, you need to buy coolers from good companies (for example, from Zalman).

The cooler speed can be controlled, for example, using the Everest program. You can choose either the optimal one, or follow the rotation speed and leave the desired speed. It is noteworthy that the program notices a critical mark.

It happens that the reason for the noise may not be the processor cooler, but the cooler in the power supply. This reason lies, again, in the weak configuration of the computer. Budget "assemblies" of a computer most often include bad power supplies. For weak computers, the optimal power supply is 400W. If it is less, then perhaps it simply cannot cope with the load, and, alas, this can only be corrected by changing the power supply unit.

With the replacement of components, this problem can naturally be solved, reducing noise to a minimum. You need to install coolers from Zalman (or any other good company). Moreover, it is desirable, in addition to a good cooler for the processor, power supply, to put a cooler on the back of the computer in order to provide additional cooling for the hard drive and video card.
